An old iPod FM transmitter and charger. I haven’t used this in years. I bought it when I drove my parent’s Malibu, but when I bought the PT Cruiser 5+ years ago, it had a 3.5mm jack, so this guy went into the glove compartment.
This thing is so old, it’s meant for the first gen iPod nanos and the iPod video. My newer nano I currently own didn’t fit nicely, so I took the holster for the nano, broke off one of the arms, and BAM, it works! I guess this horrible priced $90 (at the time) item still has some use after all! Genius!
Edit: it doesn't charge, but it plays the music and that's all I really wanted.

How is the sound quality though?

I have a generation before that, it still works and holds a charge for a nearly a week of playing at work.

For the nano? I love the click-wheel iPods, not a fan of the touchscreen ones. I’m not a Apple fan, but I am a fan of some of their products, especially the iPod. Even if it is overpriced. I will hate it once this one dies. I don't feel like buying a touchscreen one.

Pretty good actually. Listening to Dance (Blow it all away) by House of Heroes, and you can definitely hear the bass line. Half the time, that's all I ask for.

I’ve always had bad luck with those. The click-wheel Ipods, however, have always been great.

Yes, it’s a nano. I bought the one you have for my wife a year later, she still uses hers too.

It’s sad they don’t sell the click wheel iPods new anymore. I’m on my third one, and I’ve only had the 30 gb video iPod die on me.
Touchscreen aren't easy to use when you need to blindly change the song while driving.

It’s especially bad if you, like me, have no steering wheel controls.

But what is it you ask for the other half of the time?

These gen nanos are lasting a long time, it surprises me.

I do have controls on the steering wheel, but it does nothing for the iPod, only the radio.

Hearing the music crisp and clear. I just love the bass more, :).

Good answer. I thought it was gonna be something odd.

As a bassist who commutes 80 minutes a day, hearing a good bass line is so crucial. Plus I try to mentally tab it out to, lol.

I had one of those. The only thing that sucked was finding a good FM station.

Really? I just picked one at random and had no issues.
